Summer Jobs 2025

LabCat Alumni - looking for a summer job in DC?  It's going to be an even tougher summer so start now!  Why?  The federal government is cutting lots of jobs and new employees are going first - that means lots of out work college grads are looking for work to get them through until they find their next job.

As Fiona can attest - Indeed is a great place to look too.  Here are some other places to look at for seasonal employment.  I went through about half on this page - here are more on this page.

Summer Camps:

Academic

Sport Camps:

  • DC Soccer Club -  not clear if summer camp is posted yet.
  • DC United - some are part of Headfirst at St. Albans, also at NCS and Catholic.  No summer jobs posted but this info was on the page which makes me think it is through Headfirst: Employment Opportunities Phone: 202-313-7386, dial 2 when prompted E-mail: talent@headfirst.com
  • Super Soccer Stars - no openings yet
  • Nats camps - no official job listings for that - again think this part might be through Headfirst

Other:

  • Boating in DC runs the paddleboarding, kayaking, etc out Fletcher's Cove in Palisdaes, Key Boathouse in Georgetown, Thompson's Boathouse near the Kennedy Center, Wharf Boathouse, Ballpark Bouthouse and Washington Sailing Marina which is on the GW Parkway between Crystal City and Old Town.  They have basic dock staff as well as supervisors,  instructors and more.
  • Nats - has a lot of seasonal - have to be 18.  Pay seems to start at 18.25.

Arts:

  • Student Teacher at the Shakespeare Theater Company
  • National Building Museum has a camp - but no posting for summer jobs yet.
  • Arena Stage has a camp at Georgetown Visitation Prep (Georgetown) and they say they have summer jobs but none up yet.
