From Nature magazine this is an interesting piece about how programming languages and technological platforms have led to massive breakthroughs in science. I wouldn’t call them all computer codes and there were over half that I hadn’t heard of.

Take a look and get motivated – one thing the article does point out is if you want a career in science, knowing how to use technology and even create it – is key!
