I want to be able to pull down sets of data on media such as books, music, movies, and video games so that users can rate them and share info.  What is the best way to set about about pulling down data for these items? I would like to be able to pull both new releases as well as the most popular pieces of media overall. I would prefer to use free APIs that are reliable.
